I know what you must be thinking: "How could you not have read The Book Thief when you claim to be a YA fiction lover?" And I just have no excuses. I've owned it for many, many years, but I've never read more than the first seventy pages. I know I'm going to love it, but every time I've picked it up I've either not been in the right mood or just couldn't get into it. But this year I've promised myself that I have to read it, once and for all.
