GO SET A WATCHMAN
BY: HARPER LEE
PUBLICATION DATE: JULY 14TH, 2015

Like most people, To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books, and in my opinion, one of the best ever written. So to say that I was excited when Go Set a Watchman was announced would be in an understatement. I was in awe. I never thought Harper Lee would write another book, let alone a sequel to one of the best novels of all time. I'm still shocked. It's ridiculous to think that in three months, I will be reading this. Crazy.

SUMMARY:

Returning home to Maycomb to visit her father, Jean Louise Finch—Scout—struggles with issues both personal and political, involving Atticus, society, and the small Alabama town that shaped her.

Exploring how the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird are adjusting to the turbulent events transforming mid-1950s America, Go Set a Watchman casts a fascinating new light on Harper Lee’s enduring classic. Moving, funny and compelling, it stands as a magnificent novel in its own right.
