This is a difficult for me to narrow down to just ten, but these are some of my anticipated reads. Let me know if you have some of the same ones or new releases you are excited about!

The final sentence in the description of this novel is: "Told in alternating perspectives, this unconventional coming-of-age tale shows how dreams can break your heart—but the love between sisters can mend it." Seriously? Sign me up immediately. Publication Date: 7/26/16.

Not only am I in love with this cover (OMG MY EYES ARE EXPLODING AND I AM DROOLING), but the plot sounds so moving and, of course, romantic. I'm desperate to get my hands on it and find out what happens. Publication Date: 8/9/16.

I did a whole Waiting on Wednesday about this novel, but basically this sounds like it's going to be a tragic and complicated love story. And I eat those for breakfast and dinner (lunch is saved for fantasies with straightforward romances). Publication Date: 9/6/16.

The pitch of this book is: In this contemporary retelling of The Canterbury Tales, a group of teens on a bus ride to Washington, DC, each tell a story—some fantastical, some realistic, some downright scandalous—in pursuit of the ultimate prize: a perfect score.

EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO PUNCH EVERYONE I'VE EVER MET IN THE FACE, because I am so excited. I love The Canterbury Tales, and I am FREAKING out. So I've basically already set a calendar notification on my phone and had a prayer circle to ask the Gods of every religion to let me live at least until then. Publication Date: 9/6/16.

I have actually never read anything by Kendare Blake, but this could be a good place to start, because it sounds badass. Three queens battling to the death to rule their kingdom? Yes, please. Publication Date: 9/20/16.

Melina Marchetta is my God. I bow down to her on a daily basis. She is an incredible writer and storyteller, and I have been waiting eagerly for three and a half years for her next novel. It just so happens that is an adult mystery, not an YA soul-crushing contemporary or fantasy. It doesn't matter though, I am so excited. The cover isn't my favorite, but it doesn't matter. I NEED IT. Publication Date: 10/11/16.

If you haven't heard of this series, it's likely that you've been living under a rock. It blew up last fall and everywhere you went that was even slightly YA related was talking about this the first book--and with good reason. Illuminae is a hilarious and unforgettable story. So I am without a doubt dying to see what happens next. Publication Date: 10/18/16.

I finally read the first book in The Program series in January and just loved it. So when I found out the author is writing her first contemporary story, I was all over it. It's about a girl struggling with anger issues while taking care of her younger brother with special needs. I just want it now. Publication Date: 11/8/16.

I'm not a fan of Alice in Wonderland, but this is Marissa Meyer. 'Nough said. Publication Date: 11/8/16.

Again, I did a Waiting on Wednesday about this novel, BUT I AM SO EXCITED. I love the minimalist but eerie cover and the thriller/love story plot. Publication Date: 11/15/16.
