If you haven't picked up this, or Kwame Alexander's first novel, then you are missing out. Creative verse, memorable characters, unmistakable voices--they have it all. I highly suggest this beauty.

This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I was lucky enough to get an ARC at work. AND IT LIVED UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS. I can't say that very much, it seems. It was thrilling and shocking and truly mesmerizing.

THIS BOOK BROKE ME IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. That may sound dramatic, but it's true. I haven't fallen this hard for a character and novel in a while; I just connected with it in this ineffable way. It has that undeniable, heartbreakingly honest narrator like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and I was captivated by page five.

In my review of this finale, I mentioned that I'm not as obsessed with this story like many others are. But this was undeniably excellent and--bonus--my shipper heart exploded over and over again.

I read Reboot days after it came out and was blown away by the unique take on zombies. So when her next series was announced, I was on that like nobody's business. Lucky for me, this story was just as fascinating as her other one.

YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS. An incredible, sexy, exciting sequel that left me begging for more. Sarah J. Maas has my shipper heart in her hands, and I honestly don't care what she does with it, because I will always love what she decides to do.

An idealistic, but heartbreaking, honest, raw story of sexual assault. I was mesmerized by the character's journey and her resiliency through everything.

Andrea Portes writes teenagers and unique voices so unfathomably well. This is one of my favorite reads of the year without a doubt, and I loved the complicated relationships that filled the pages.

This novel had me in a puddle of tears. Again, I was lucky to snag an ARC at work, and I devoured this in a weekend. It's funny and realistic and romantic and just FULL OF FEELS. Read it.

This book gobbled me up and spit me back out and I loved every second of it. A wonderful story plus an unforgettable character divided by a bucket of feels equals one broken me.
