Top Ten 2014 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To

1. Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. I know, I know. It's ridiculous that I haven't read it yet, but I got distracted with a million other books and it's soooooo long. But it's at the top of my list for 2015.

2. Red Rising by Pierce Brown. As soon as I read the description on this book, I knew I had to buy it. And now, I've owned it for two months and still haven't read it. I NEED TO READ IT!

3. Glory O'Brien's History of the Future by A.S. King. I'm a huge A.S. King fan, I never got around to reading her newest one--one that I think sounds crazy interesting and has pretty awesome reviews.

4. In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken. I love this series, and I am so nervous and excited to see how it all ends, and for whatever reason, I didn't get to it last year.

5. Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. This novel sounded like the most interesting of Colleen Hoover's, but I never got around to reading it. But it came into the bookstore I worked at, so I finally bought it, and I can't wait to dive in.

6. The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson. This book sounds like the perfect book for me. Love triangle? Check. Fantasy? Check. Royalty in disguise? Check. But I never read it. Dumb, dumb, girl over here.

7. Erased by Jennifer Rush. I bought this book the day it came out and never read it. And then the third book came out last week, and I bought it as well. SO NOW I HAVE TO READ THEM BOTH.

8. The Iron Trial by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. I kind of avoid middle grade novels because they feel a little too young for me, but I really want to read this one.

9. Something Real by Heather Demetrios. This book sounds incredibly interesting, but I also read Reality Boy by A.S. King last year, and I didn't think I needed to read two books about previous reality TV show stars. But this year I will read this one.

10. Rebel by Amy Tintera. I loved the first half of Reboot, but I was a little hesitant about the ending. Which, in the end, made me a little hesitant about the sequel. But I will brave it this year.
