  1. One of the things that makes me love YA novels so much is that they tend to have a diverse range of families. There are so many single parent families out there, it's lovely to see novels that reflect that! I really loved Cath's dad in Fangirl, and at the moment I'm reading To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and I love the dad in that, too!
